The reason Sungmin doesn't quite know. However, soon after Kyuhyun moved away which made Sungmin completely forget about the incident. He pushed it back so far in his mind, that he doesn't even know why he recognizes the name Kyuhyun when the same person from eight years before moves back and joins his class. This begins the enemies relationship as Sungmin still fails to remember what caused Kyuhyun's hatred to build up so much.
Hopefully this chapter is a bit more interesting and it feels like the story is actually going somewhere... hopefully. Let me know if it feels rushed or whatever.
(Sidenotes: They attend an all boys boarding school.Sungjin is older than Sungmin. ALSO I've never written a fanfic before, let alone a chaptered one, it has also been about two years since I've written anything. So stick around maybe and it could get better thanks again).

Sungmin groaned as his phone vibrated and played out his ringtone, he felt beneath his pillow until he found it, he pressed the green button before placing it to his ear.
"Hello?" he said, his voice still groggy.
"You better wake up… we're all waiting for you on the coach" the voice warned, Sungmin recognised it as Kyuhyun.
Sungmin's eye shot open, along with his body that bolted itself out of bed, he looked at the clock, it read '4:37am' meaning he still had three hours until they left. He put the phone back to his ear.
"Yah! Cho Kyuhyun, do you want to die?" Sungmin threatened, he could hear Kyuhyun chucking on the other end "it's not funny, I don't need to be up for another hour" he warned.
"Well then, consider this I'm giving you a good early start… so you're for sure going to be ready by 7:30" Kyuhyun said still giggling.
At 7:15 Sungmin was showered, dressed and had already eaten. He rolled his suitcase out of his room and locked his door, before walking down the corridor his suitcase being pulled behind him.
When he reached the coach that had parked in the staff parking lot he handed his luggage to the driver and got on.
He smiled at Mrs Yong who had once again astounded Sungmin by her fashion choice, she smiled back "partner bonding starts now, you have to sit next to them… okay?" she grinned through her bright red lipstick.
Sungmin nodded and looked down at the bus to see if his partner was anywhere, and there he was with a smug grin on his face, Sungmin marched towards him with a scowl, that looked far too cute for Kyuhyun to handle.
Kyuhyun burst into laughter, "don't make that face… please" he said through his laughter.
"Move up" Sungmin demanded, because Kyuhyun was sitting in the aisle seat. When Kyuhyun didn't budge, and still sat looking at Sungmin with a smug grin on his face. Sungmin scowled even more "you really do have a death wish today… don't you?" he muttered as he squeezed his way past Kyuhyun to sit by the window.
"I need the leg room" Kyuhyun laughed when he saw Sungmin's face "if I sat by the window, I couldn't stretch my legs".
"What if I need to do that do too?" Sungmin asked, immediately wishing he hadn't.
Kyuhyun raised an eyebrow at Sungmin and looked at Sungmin's legs which fitted perfectly fine behind the seat in front of him "shut up" Sungmin threatened.
Once they were on the plane to Jeju, of course they had to sit next to each other again.
Sungmin was settled in a seat next to the window.
Kyuhyun started peering over to look at the window which Sungmin saw. He looked at the window and back at Kyuhyun "haven't you flown before?" he asked.
Kyuhyun shook his head "nope…never" he admitted.
Sungmin twisted his mouth and stood up "sit there before we take off" he ordered as he squeezed past Kyuhyun to let him sit by the window.
"You sure?" Kyuhyun asked.
Sungmin settled into the aisle seat, shut his eyes and smiled "I need the leg room anyways" he giggled.
"You wish" Kyuhyun muttered under his breath.
"I heard that" Sungmin said blankly still with his eyes shut.
About half way through the flight Sungmin's eyes widened "oh yeah" he exclaimed as he dug around in his backpack and pulled out a scarf and a single glove "here" he said as he nudged Kyuhyun with it.
Kyuhyun who had been staring out of the window since take off looked at Sungmin then at the material which was in his hands "I said you can keep it" Kyuhyun stated.
"But it's yours" Sungmin said, feeling confused as to why Kyuhyun wasn't taking his belongings back.
"And I gave it to you" Kyuhyun laughed "but I will have this" he said taking the glove.
"Are you sure?" Sungmin asked, retreating his hand back the scarf still remaining.
Kyuhyun nodded "of course" he smiled before turning back to the window and staring out at the sky and landscape.
"Okay guys" Mrs Yong exclaimed as she clapped her hands together "the purpose of this trip is to get close to your partner for the art project, every pair has been given tasks to complete over the next two days. Each day you all must complete your task then find your way back to the hostel using your teamwork skills and compass" she said dramatically throwing her arms about to make everything seem so much more exciting then it really was. The students all looked at her their expressions blank, some yawning after the flight and drive here, "stay safe, and if you're not back by 7:00pm tonight then I'll be in contact with you… now go explore" she said shooing them away.
Sungmin pulled on his backpack straps and looked up at Kyuhyun "I need to meet my brother quickly, I told him to meet me here" he informed him, as he turned to look around.
Around five minutes later a car pulled up and a man who was slightly taller than Sungmin, exited it. He looked around and waved at the two.
"Hey Hyung" Sungmin called as he lightly ran over to his brother his suitcase being pulled behind him, "Hyung, I asked my teacher if it was okay to stay and she agreed to it. But you're taking full responsibility for me" he nodded.
Sungjin shrugged understanding "that's fine" he said as he looked over his younger brothers shoulder "I take it that's your partner" he said indicating at Kyuhyun with his head.
Kyuhyun looked up and bowed slightly to be polite.
"This is.. Ch-" Sungmin stopped "this is my friend… Kyu" he said, uncomfortable with shortening Kyuhyun's name but thought it was best just in case his brother recognized him, knowing that that could make the atmosphere awkward "Kyu… this is my brother Sungjin-hyung".
"Nice to meet you Kyu" Sungjin smiled, his smile similar to his brothers.
"It's nice to meet you too Sungjin-hyung" Kyuhyun said nodding his head.
"This is my stuff" Sungmin said as he dragged his bag forward and handing it to his brother.
"You pakced enough for a week" Sungjin laughed as he lifted the bag with difficulty into the boot of his car.
"It's not that heavy" Sungmin said hitting his brother lightly on the arm "anyway, Hyung we should probably go. It's nice seeing you" Sungmin admitted truthfully, giving his brother a slightly awkward but nonetheless whole-hearted hug before leaving with Kyuhyun.
After they had waved to Sungjin, Kyuhyun opened the envelope which Mrs Yong had given them with their task.
Sungmin looked up "where to?" he asked
"We have to find Hamdeok beach" Sungmin said still looking at the paper.
"Well I hope you're good with a compass, because I'm not even going to lie. I have the navigational system of a grain of rice" Sungmin laughed.
Later that day
Kyuhyun and Sungmin were sat on a wall in the town eating hot sweet potatoes.
"We've got about an hour until you have to go back" Sungmin said shrugging himself into his coat and the scarf Kyuhyun gave him.
Kyuhyun looked at his watch "you're right" taking a bite of his potato "I best make my way back now" he hopped off the wall and turned to face Sungmin "you know where your brothers is right?" he asked.
Sungmin nodded "yeah it isn't too far, I'll see you soon" he waved as Kyuhyun turned to walk in the way of the hostel which the rest of the class was staying in.
After Sungmin had finished eating he too hopped off the wall. He cupped his hands over his mouth and blew into them to warm up, he pulled the scarf over his mouth and shoved his hands in his coat pocket.
He slowly made his way through the town towards what he thought was the way to his brothers apartment. He quickly found out his navigational skills was really like a grain of rice, he groaned as he found himself on a deserted piece of road that was spiralling up towards the top of a hill.
He continued walking hoping he might be able to see something from the top, then he felt a twinge of pain in his ankle and his knees collapsing beneath him, Sungmin attempted standing and putting weight on it he yelled in agony and went back onto his knees. He grasped his ankle, and heard noises in the bushes from above him "it's the wind" he repeated to himself "just the wind" he continued saying as he felt his heartbeat quicken, he grabbed his phone out of his pocket and dialled Sungjin's number. It went straight to the answering machine, Sungmin started panicking.
Then a thought struck him, he dialled another number "please, please" he muttered to himself.
"Hello?" a voice questioned.
"Kyuhyun" Sungmin sighed with relief, still rubbing his ankle "I'm lost, there are weird noises coming from around me… and…" he stopped feeling stupid.
"And what?" Kyuhyun asked his voice full of concern.
"I hurt my ankle, I can't put weight on it" he admitted.
"Where are you… what are your surroundings?" Kyuhyun asked, sounding as if he was running.
"I'm on a r-r-road, it's going up towards a hill. I'm about half an hour from town… I don't know much else. It's dark it-it's ha-hard to tell" Sungmin answered his voice wavering slightly, as his tears from agony and panic started striking him.
"Okay Sungmin, what I need you to do is find cover it looks like it's going to rain. And don't panic" Kyuhyun ordered as he hung up his phone and sprinted back the way he came.
Around 45 minutes later the rain had well and truly hammered it's way on everything, but had gradually subsidded. Sungmin had found a little bit of shelter beneath a tree on the side of the road, the cold was hitting him hard and his eyes were beginning to get heavy.
"Sungmin-hyung" he heard his named being called.
"I'm here" he started his voice too quiet "I'm here!" he shouted finding his voice.
He heard footsteps get closer to him, and then he felt two arms embrace him tightly "finally" the voice spoke again.
"Kyuhyun… thank you… and I'm so-" Sungmin started .
"I know" Kyuhyun said interrupting Sungmin "you can't walk?".
Sungmin tried standing up, the twinge of pain struck him and he dropped back to his knees.
Kyuhyun sighed "you really are an idiot" he mumbled as he turned around and knelt down in front of Sungmin, he grabbed Sungmin's arms from behind him and pulled them over his shoulder before pulling him up onto his back as he stood up. Sungmin gripped his legs on Kyuhyun's waist and put his head on Kyuhyun's shoulder.
"Sorry" Sungmin said again "I was sure I knew where Sungjin lived".
"Obviously not" Kyuhyun laughed as he made his way back down the hill "let me see the address" he asked.
Sungmin took an arm from around Kyuhyun's shoulder to dig around in his coat pocket he pulled out a post-it and showed it to Kyuhyun.
Kyuhyun studied it and nodded "I think I know where it is"
"Yah! How would you know? it's your first time here" Sungmin complained, as he put the post-it note back in his pocket and placed his arm back on Kyuhyun's shoulder.
"I was looking at the map a lot, so I recognise some of the street names and stuff" Kyuhyun laughed again "so excuse me for having decent navigational skills".
Sungmin smiled into Kyuhyun's shoulder "at least the rain's stopped".
"Is he alright?" Sungjin asked Kyuhyun when he opened the door of his apartment.
Kyuhyun nodded "I think he's badly sprained his ankle, he can't put weight on it".
"He's an idiot for sure" Sungjin muttered under his breath.
"I'm still here you know" Sungmin complained.
"Take him through to his room, I've set him up on a futon… I'll get you a futon too Kyu" Sungjin called as he made his way back into the apartment.
"I wouldn't want to impose" Kyuhyun shouted back as he kicked his shoes off next to the platform.
"Don't be silly" Sungjin laughed "it'd be a bother for you to walk back to the hostel, and I don't like driving at night either" he admitted.
"If you're sure then" Kyuhyun said, Sungmin still on his back who was just listening to the other two conversing as if he wasn't there.
"Could you call our teacher, to let her know I'll be here then" Kyuhyun asked, as he turned to walk towards the end room where they would be sleeping.
"Of course" Sungjin nodded.
The night went by comfortably. Sungmin and Sungjin caught up with one another, and even though Kyuhyun couldn't put much input into the conversation he still found himself smiling. Sungmin was pleased to have the relationship he wanted with his older brother. His ankle also, felt somewhat better, but knew in the morning it would be agony.
"Night boys!" Sungjin called, as he went around the apartment switching off the lights.
"Night!" they both called in unison, as they both settled into their futons.
"It's official" Kyuhyun started.
"What's that?" Sungmin whispered as he turned to face Kyuhyun.
"I know longer hate your family" Kyuhyun replied, chuckling softly.
"That's good to know" Sungmin smiled as he shut his eyes, exhaustion taking over.
The room fell silent, Sungmin was nearing to sleep. On the other hand Kyuhyun could not. He looked at Sungmin, as his mouth twisted wondering whether to say anything.
"Hyung" he whispered.
Sungmin hummed in reply.
"Do you believe in fate?" Kyuhyun wondered.
"What?" Sungmin smiled, eyes never opening "why do you ask?"
"Just curious…" Kyuhyun said blushing slightly and contorting his mouth to the side "go..go to sleep Hyung" he whispered..
Sungmin nodded and snuggled into his blankets, he could've swore he felt something press lightly to his forehead, but he chose to ignore it as he surrendered himself to sleep.
